"Dr. Kotur, provides extraordinary chiropractic care unlike anything I have experienced before. While being under care, I experienced aches and pains going away, but I also noticed I was having a better outlook on life. I highly recommend receiving care at the Vitality Wellness Studio!"

FAQs
Is Chiropractic Safe?
Yes. Chiropractic is the largest drugless healing profession on the planet, and when performed by a licensed chiropractor, spinal manipulations are one of the safest ways to address your health concerns.
Doctors of chiropractic are well educated and have similar education requirements to those of medical doctors. It is the third largest doctoral-level health care profession after medicine and dentistry. Your chiropractor mastered the science of anatomy, physiology, pathology, neurology, biomechanics, X-Ray techniques, and most importantly spinal adjusting methods.
Do you take insurance?
Many people are surprised at how affordable care can be when it’s simple and transparent. This office operates with a small team on a direct-pay model, meaning care isn’t billed through insurance companies or third-party payers. Instead, you receive straightforward and affordable pricing and flexible payment options so you can choose the level of care that fits your goals, whether you’re addressing a current concern, correcting an underlying spinal issue, or investing in ongoing wellness. You’ll be guided through the available options so you feel confident and comfortable moving forward.
Do I have to be in pain?
No. Many spinal misalignments are painless, so whether you have pain or not, it’s always a good idea to have your spine and nervous system checked.
Your nervous system is made up of two main parts: your brain and your spinal cord, which combine to form the central nervous system. Only about 10% of your nervous system perceives pain. The other 90% controls function, sending signals back and forth from your brain to vital organs and systems in your body.
Spinal checkups are important as you may be experiencing compromised nerve function long before any pain or physical symptoms begin. By the time you are “feeling” the pain of a misalignment, you have likely been living with a spinal misalignment for many years. The longer the misalignment is left uncorrected, the more complex it will be and more time it will take to correct.
Do adjustments hurt?
Most people find adjustments relieving. You might hear pops or cracks (totally normal), and you might feel a little sore afterward, like after a workout. But the adjustment itself usually feels great. If you have high anxiety about seeing a chiropractor, just let us know. We can work with gentler chiropractic techniques if preferred.
Can I see a chiropractor while pregnant?
Yes. Pregnancy is a great time to see a chiropractor. Chiropractic improves the function of the body and during pregnancy, your body is working very hard! Chiropractic has been shown to improve birth outcomes, reduce the need for medical intervention, shorten labor times, ease discomfort & nausea, and provide optimal baby positioning,
Can I see a chiropractor after back surgery?
It is an excellent idea to see a chiropractor if you’ve had or are considering back surgery. Unfortuntely, disc surgeries of the spine have a failure rate greater than 50% with about 10% of patients reporting a worsening of symptoms after surgical intervention.
Can I just walk in?
We work by appointment to give you our full attention. Book online or call to schedule.
How often will I need to come in?
It depends on your goals. Those addressing acute symptoms or chronic conditions tend to come more frequently. Athletes often come 1-2x a week while actively training their bodies. Wellness-focused practice members come 2-4 times per month. We’ll create a plan that fits your body and your life.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Just yourself. If you have recent X-rays, MRIs, or health records, feel free to bring them, but it’s not required.
Dr. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and has innovative testing and treating modalities to help uncover and heal pain. My cervical region carried so much weight and he not only physically treated my pain but helped me see that stress and anxiety caused metaphysical pain and can only be cured at the root. I'm feeling much better after just a few treatments.
— Aracely CordesDejan is highly professional and extremely knowledgeable. I appreciated his approach, starting with evaluating your posture, weight distribution, spine heat diagrams, and other data. This helped me see better results and feel better. I would highly recommend his practice and his business-like yet pleasant character.
